I was declared bankrupt last year and my 50% share in my Spanish property was under control of my trustee in bankruptcy.

I understand my share is being sold off.

How do I now make sure that my name is removed from the title deeds, any tax documentation and anything else I should be aware of.

I also need to do the same with my Spanish bank account which Is joint with my ex husband but they don't seem to respond to any email or letter requests (Solbank).

I appreciate any help even in part to any of the above - I really need to clean break and don't want to have gone through all this to find I have left something unresolved that could hurt me later.

thank you

Talk to your solicitor and /or your receiver

Any comments on here may well mislead you up the garden path

Phone your Spanish bank or you may have to listen to music for a while like most people but you might get lucky or walk in if you can get over

Think about it and do in spain what you would do in the uk simples

Good luck

Louthom:

Review on ownership in Spain ( and its corresponding charges:  i.e.- mortgage loan) is done at the Land Registry.

If Solbank is not answering you, you can try with a lawyer/solicitor or contacting clients´ services of the Bank

Cheers

Maria

This is not the place to seek this type of advice. Use a lawyer who specialises in insolvency law.
