Is now the time to buy property in Spain ?

Spoke to one of the main agents in our area 2 weeks ago, he said prices are down to 1999/2000 levels and that now is the time to buy but not to sell.

I think the prices will continue to fall - by about another 10% over the next year or two. As the recession bites further and more people are forced to sell this will drive the prices slightly lower.
We are currently renting at the moment but we want to buy. However we are aware that this will be our last purchase and want to get it right. That includes getting it at the right price.
