HI all, we're thinking of renting long-term in Spain and have been offered a villa on Camposol Sector D, however, for the first 12 months, we won't have any transport.

Can anyone tell me please if amenities - shops, medics etc - are within reasonable walking distance on Sector D?

I've done net searches but can't seem to find out!

I'd also be grateful if anyone knows how easy/difficult it is to get high speed wi-fi in that area?

Thanks so much! Lynn

Allthough I dont live on Camposol I have had several holidays there.  The commercial centres are on Sections A & B - there are no shops on sector D.  I think unless you like walking long distances carrying your shopping - at a guess 45 minutes - this would not really be suitable.  We have always hired a car and find the area and the villas to be excellent but I wouldnt like to have to rely on public transport in sector D.

Thanks so much Nigela, that helps a lot as that would be way too far for us.

Thanks again, Lynn

I live on Camposol D & as Nigel says it is a 45 minute walk to the shops on sector B. Unless you particularly enjoy walking and yes some people happily live on D with no car, I think it may become a bit of a drag.
