Handing in the Keys

Sincere appologies for my recent absence from the site & for not replying to emails.

Thing is, I changed jobs, PC had to go back and work load unbelievable, but I`ve got it sorted now so looking forward to getting involved again.

Regarding the `compensation letter` ....this was sent to Peinsa, I heard nothing so called them, they said they had no record but would investigate & call me......guess what....they haven`t!!

Talking to various people, who are `in the know`  I reckon we have almost no chance, personally I`m not too worried bearing in mind how things are progressing, the build quality & the euro situation at present, apparently the £ is now below the level the government set for us to actually join the currency so keep you eyes open.

It`s great to read all the positive comments, I went out in March following a ski trip in The Seirra Nevada mountains (fabulous BTW) and can concur on build quality, the show house was really impressive & I love the place more each time I go, so really excited.

It`s taken time but boy o boy what a place it will be!!

I had an interesting email from my solicitor outlinining my options regarding calas de pinar and sueing peinsa for delays, { im on phase 3 and booked it in oct 04}  pensia will do everything to ignore your requests for compensation. the only way is to threaten to take them to court and they are 100% confident i would win , they also say they will put a claim in for loss of rent any economic hardship this may have caused, and also any holiday expense i may have incurred ie rent in san juan last year and this year ( they should be paying for my holiday apartment  i am renting in august) . they also said not to apply for my spanish mortgage as it wont be completed in the near future as there is no architect cert to sign of yet  .
