Does anyone have any more feedback on buying the Roda furniture pack, with a view to 'handing over' our Phase 3 apartment to De Vere/Roda to rent as part of their allocated rentals?

Thanks

Alistair & Elaine

hi.
we bought roda's pack and are happy with service and quality of furniture.
sure it was probably dearer but does give the option of letting them rent.
im sure they said they could guarentee 12 weeks per year.

Hi all. We've just returned from Roda. Our phase 2 apartment looks great; furnished by Roda. We were considering having Calidona handle the letting; however it would seem that the owner gets 12 weeks use a year, & there is no guarenteed income! We think a very poor deal.

Agree although apartments furnished by Roda the intention was to go with them for rentals however very mixed signals on E O S about using them , however is there any rental/management companies doing any better ? Perhaps to many units in the area available and until the resort nearly completes might be a struggle, therefore friends/family an option.Anyone any advice ?

We feel as many people obviously do that until the hotel and other facilities are finished rentals will be slow to achieve and are really just going with friends and family at the moment and using Roda F.M. to do the cleaning and laundry etc.  They are planning doing rentals as well so it'll be a bonus if we get some from them as well as our own, will probably put our property on one of the main holiday rental websites to see if that will drum up any rentals.  If anyone wants Roda F.M's contact details please PM me and I'll pass them on.

It is a poor deal, once they have your money for their pack the ball really is in their court. I found their rentals department to be very lazy, like they didnt want to be there, oh unless you want to go and see the pack they offer. I have seen this all to often, unless there is a guaranteed rental program in place you are in a corner. If they have stated they are in talks with top tour companies, this simply means they sent an e mail (if they could be bothered) Sorry to be negative, but this department is like the others, manana, manana, manana. You could always go for long term until things settle down. There are also some timewasters out there testing the market for rentals, rather like an auction. They have no intention of using your appartment, but are conducting their own survey for their own future use. On a plus side I already have 40 days so far in rental bookings from friends, friends of friends, work colleagues. So network your fabulous place in the sun because Roda Golf is indeed very nice,

Sorry but I can't agree with the previous post!  I contacted them with a view to renting one of the apartments on their books while I was over in Roda to complete later in the year.  They were very quick to come back to my initial query with available dates, costs etc. and made a number of follow ups to the query.

I was impressed from a customer point of view and it changed my mind regarding the service offered.  They were professional at all times.
