Will Atlético move to Estadio La Peineta?

Just got back from Pueblo Salinas and had a chat with the Community Management Team.  the next meeting is apparently confirmed as Friday 21 March at  7.30pm.  The details are  in the process of being posted out and will include forms to complete if someone is going to handle your vote in your absence,

We have asked them why we are notified so late in the day about the meetings? Apparently this date was set at the beginning of December and, why then,  has it taken so long to filter down to us?  We have requested that future  meeting dates are pre arranged in one go for the forthcoming year, of which there are perhaps to be  three a year and dropping to two once everything is up and running   - they need to be well in advance so that we get plenty of notice,  because if you are like us you need to plan leave from work and also grab the cheap flights well in advance.  Unlike our Spanish neighbours we cannot jump in our car or take a train at short notice.

It doesnt look like we will get to this one as we are flying out on the Easter Sunday and to change dates this late in the day is not practical, so we will have to elect someone to act as our representative.  Is any one else going out for this one ?

Just out of interest what issues are people thinking about raising ?

We wont be able to attend either but the types of things we would like some answers to are as follows,

1) Can we get a firm date and commitment as to when the clubhouse will be open for use. As the structure is built surely they should be able to open a bar and restaurant even if this is just for the summer months May-Oct to start with say this year!! They may say not enough residents yet but surely if you add the other developments infront and behind Pueblo Salinas there would be enough.Additionally runblings have gone around what facilities will be available for free and what will be charged for. Can the developer clarify for residents.

2) When will the main pool be open for residents to use. I know we have a nice pool on phase 1 but again we have guests going out and this should have been open by now.

3) Can we discuss the posibility of English TV channels being added to the properties through the existing arrangements. Currently there are lots of Spanish channels as you would expect. There is Sky News and surely they could get the additional channels put in. This would stop the need for dozens of huge sky dishes having to be put up and I would have thought be more cost effective for the majority of residents.

If anyone has answers or can get some answers to these points I would love to find out. Not sure about any one else but I have recently sent a few emails to Keymare around a few last snagging bits and pieces and they don't seem to reply to any correspondence anymore!!

We too, have asked similar questions and these were the answers we got last week.

Roger in the office says that the other swimming pool has now been signed off and should be open for the summer.

With regard to the leisure club, they are trying to get someone to lease the whole building as a going concern, however investors seem reluctant with so much of the development still under construction,  we too mentioned that a bar would be nice,  and i think that as a last alternative key mare might split the complex up into units if they cannot go the whole way,  -  like you  i am a bit worried it will become a white elephant.

The sky situation I dont think will happen as it requires another satellite and as most of our phase I think is spanish,  they may be reluctant  to pay for it,  also several english residents have already put sky in therefore they are not going to be interested - unlike here it is a one off payment and they wont save anything by going into a community scheme,  but you never know.  Like you, I can only watch so much Sky news!

Latest bit of gossip is that the hotel  may have  been shelved for this phase anyway - but may come later and the football pitch may  become a childrens play area.  I suppose if they move the hotel to phase 4 then the football pitch will be built along with additional padel tennis then,  but you know the situation , it changes every week!!!!!

Checked up on your house,  looking nice and tidy and the plants are growing very well.  Sue is out on the 23rd she may see you?

We've sent you a PM in regards to the meeting, we are out on the 19th March. In regards to English channels. We have a friend who has an appartment on a development in Marbella. He says that if we are recieving some English channels we should be able to recieve more from the community dish. He had the same issue & his developer gave him the number of the engineer who came up and made some adjustments in the community room (for a fee) and he was able to recieve most Sky freeview channels in his appartment. It may be worth asking the question..
