 Hi everyone,

 Has anyone paid the next installment from the initial payment of 150 euros , I have tried to contact the community  email  site to get the password etc which was sent  in December, but have had no reply, has anyone had simliar problems or  do you know who to contact regarding the next installment .

By the way we  have found that keymare after sales are not very good at actioning snagging on our apartment in fact they are very poor after sending a number of emails to get things sorted  they do not reply to our  emails we had to get our solicitor to intervene not very good on a brand new site ,   Its a shame that a big company such as Keymare don't put the effort to keep the new owners  more happy. the sales side have been very helpful and we feel that if the aftersales put as much effort as the sales side there would be less complaints , Has anyone  else  had similar experiences   please post them on the site because we know they get passed  on . Sorry to complain but We have had enough of the very poor after sales service and keeping us informed, which is a large investment for most of us.

Hi there Brian and Sue

Would you believe that all our snagging was done really quickly, but we did not have anything major apart from reinstalling part of the kitchen units and replacing the worktop,  a few cracked tiles etc and adjusting the front door etc,  we moved in  at start of August, and it was all done by mid September.

  The only thing that we found really upsetting was the fact that on  arrival a month or so later, late on a Friday, when  we walked up to the front door we noticed that our kitchen utility door,   immediately to its right,  was flapping in the wind,  we obviously thought at first that we had been burgled,  but , apparently the builders had been in (not sure why)  helped themselves to our beer, used our toilet and left the back door open,  it could have been like this for a day or five weeks,  we were not happy!  Key Mare were horrified, said they would investigate and apologised,  but we had our key back from  them straight away so that they do not have the chance to repeat the issue.   Just thnk what could have happened !  Suggest that if you have no issues get your key back quick. 

We are having the same issues with the community company in that we have emailed them but with no response so far,   we are out at the weekend and will "pop in" to see them,  the next community meeting is rumoured to be easter weekend, but we have heard nothing formal but will post anything we find on the website when  we get back.

Hi Paul and Sue

We have found the aftersales service not to be the best. The easy things to put right they have done reasonable quickly but we have  other items which will cost them actual money like replacing the front door frame as it is heavily scratched and rusty already!! I have now spoken emailed about 6 times and am still trying to get the matter resolved.

On a separate issue has anyone been reading in the press the horror stories of properties in Vera being demolished because proper planning permissions were not granted!! It appears the local officials have been corrupt and have granted permissions on land not designated for development. The Daily Mail reckons its the tip of the ice berg and thousands of other properties on the costas will be demolished. I don't want to scare monger and am sure our development is water tight but I have emailed my solicitor for reassurance!!

On the positive though we are very pleased and hope the club house and out door pool will open sooner rathan than later and it will be one of the best developments in the area I'm sure.

You have been watching GMTV haven't you,  I couldnt believe it when they showed that levelled house this morning and then said that it was in Vera.  It appears to be several houses built about three or four years ago,  apparently Vera Town Council have been really good and are offering compensation because it was their fault in that they passed the building licence.  they are also paying for the couples hotel while they go through the appeal stages.  I must admit I wondered if it was anything to do with the land that the Junta want to put their water purification plant on, the one that they are having all the rows with the Vera Council about,  I have seen all the banners round the town square,  i things things are getting quite heated out there politicially!   We will try and find out more when we are out at the weekend.

When are you out next then?  If you are wondering who tidied up the tables and chairs lying around your garden, it was us,  we had a a quick walk round  when we were out just before Christmas,  after ther big storm!  - Yes there was another one!!!!

Hi everyone. In regards to snagging, we only had a few issues when we completed, most of it to do with grouting. However we had a major issue with the 2nd bathroom. We were supposed to have a cubicle with a fancy shower. We got a bath instead. We e-mailed all this and went back out in December and apart from a bit of touching up, of paintwork nothing had been done. We spoke to them and they said it's on the list but they were behind. We have since e-mailed them with no reply. We are back out in March and we hope it will be done by then..

However in their defence, we had a leak in the 2nd bathrrom which happened when we emptied the bath, We reported this and they came and sorted it straight away (the nice coloured guy), unfortunately it must have gone through to the underneath appartment. They were doing repairs in there all week. They did also come round to check some of the issues on our snagging list.
