Unfortunately the fitting of the gates is down to you or us should I say, we have had ours on the first phase for over a year now, love it, but I sent an e.mail to the builders asking about the gates, because on the brochure there are gates allready fitted, of course didnt get any reply, and when we signed we asked the rep (not David) and he said that it was down to the buyers to get their own gates, we got ours done a short time after we had the grilles fitted, good company, very clean and reliable, if anyone wants their name just let me know, just been over in October, even chanced the pool (it was freezing) but it had to be done :-)  and you are right, we were told that lots of the other people from other communities had been using the pool, maybe when the community is up and running we will be able to get some gates put on, but looking at all the different entrances we would need about 5, thats a lot of money, anyway we love it, cant wait to get over there permanently.

Hello again to you all, long time no speak! Any more developments in Phase 2 Florida Golf? In particular is 300 finished yet?

we have bought on vista golf 2  bit have been told we have to purchase our garden gates.  what next doors  windows. bathroomsetc etc etc.  take my advice and get everything on your contract before signing .also has any one rec there cert  of bab licence or have you not signed fot the deeds we have been advised by our solicitor not to until all the paper work is in place.

 we have an apartment on phase 1 Florida Golf No 373, we have received a letter regarding the setting up of our 'House owners association' after just coming back from Spain and speaking to other people there we are holding off on setting up our direct debit, this is because the president at the moment is the builder, something which we dont want, so from what we have been told there is going to be a meeting sometime in October where the people that are actually living there and of course anyone who can get out there are going to try to set up our own president (someone from our community), please dont get me wrong I am not telling you not to pay it, I am just telling you what I have been told, if anyone knows anything else please let us all know so that we have some kind of idea as to what is happening, after all this is what these forums are all about.

We were out a couple of weeks ago and Barbara & Tom were collecting names and e-mail addresses for this purpose. The meeting is planned for October 1st and someone from phase 1 has agreed to stand as presidente for a year. The main thing is to get the builder out of that position. The trouble is as the builder still owns a lot of apartments he still has a lot  of votes and so it's important that everyone votes in the election. I don't know if you actually have to be present at the meeting but if that is the case then a lot of us won't be able to vote.

This is the problem because obviously not everyone can be out there at a specific time, we cant go over in October because of work commitments and other things, we have to remember though that we are every bit as important as the people that actually live there, we will all be paying the same amount, the same thing must happen in all the communities bacause as we all know lots of people have places over in Spain but they dont all live there, so I dont know if there is anything in place to allow us all to get a vote on these things, I should imagine there is, because you cant just have a handful of people having all the say for the rest of the community, but I am sure (hopefully) it will all get sorted out, fingers crossed. I think the priority is getting the builder out and our own president in.
