Has anyone with a roof terrace installed fake grass over the tiles to make it look like a real garden. If so, how does it look and cope with water run off etc.

I think it would look fantastic and I am thinking of doing it.

Any feedback is appreciated.

I think you would have to be very carefull with the product you might select here. The UV rays of the sunshine in Spain wreck most plastic products very quickly. I have had a patio table cover turn to dust within 12 months and a PVC rattan setee start crumbling within 2 years. Saying that the false grass at San Javier airport still seems to be going strong. Just check the uv rating I guess.

Tigerturf used to be used in Spain a lot, my husband used to lay it when we lived there. Google it, but I think Iron Art who have a place in Murcia used to do it.
