As I said in an earlier post I am moving to TDLTGR in March. However I have begun to wonder if I made the right decision !  I have just been informed of the lack of public transport/taxi service etc. This will be a problem for me, as I had not planned on buying a car until I had settled in. Can anyone shed some light on this, please ?

Welcome, I am sure you will love Terrazas, allmost everyone I know on the resort is pleased with their purchase, although we wish we could have bought at todays prices not the 2007 off plan prices!!

As far as transport is concerned, there is no public transport but plenty of taxi services from Roldan and Torre Pacheco. Depending on your inclination you could allways buy a bycycle, La Torre resort is only 10 minutes ride away with a supermarket and several restaurants. Some of the restaurants in Basilcas and Roldan offer free taxi services for diners. On Terrazas we do have a supermarket and a bar/restaurant. As more properties are sold on the resort the other shop units on site will become financially viable.

Hi,
Welcome to Terrazas.
Travel time to Terrazas from Alicante by car is an hour.
Travel time from San Javier Murcia is 17 mins by car.
There is a train station at Balcicas which is only 5 mins by car from Terrazas.
Most people on the complex rent a hire car if they do not have one of there own.
Another option would be to have a keyholder for your apartment who will meet & greet you from the airport, & would put a welcome pack in for you until you can get to the super market on the complex.
We have someone in our block who gets picked up from the airport by taxi, who then takes them to do a Mercodona to a big shop & then gets them to the complex.
People on the complex are very friendly & will help one another out, get to know your neighbours.

Regards
Clieve
