Went up to the site this afternoon.  The  earth moving lorries and tractors are back. More earth is being moved and the  parts of the golf course already laid out have been tidied up.  They had weeds on them last week.  Nothing else new that I could see.  The wind has gone and it was a beautiful day today with temperatures reached 28 degrees.   The wind has cleared the skies and you could see clearly for miles today and we had Martinis at sundown.

Hi Shents.  Yes I am lucky and I know it.  We work hard and dont have as much money in our pockets as we did in the UK but our time is our own and we would not want to change it.  We also feel quite privileged to have been living here for quite a while before many of the changes that are taking place at the moment began to take effect.  By that I mean we were here before many other expats and land sales, new builds etc.  The changes taking place are rapid and everlasting for the local communities and  it sometimes amazes me how quickly they adapt.  Chinese Restaurants are appearing rapidly and British foodstuffs are fairly easy to get now, whereas they were not when we first arrived.  You had to go to the coast for your marmite, gravy granules or cornflakes. On the one hand I hate what the likes of San Jose or doing but on the other I know that nothing stays the same and change in this region is necessary for the future.
