Security in the Costa Blanca area

For anyone coming out to visit this week.  We have had a little rain in the past 2 days.  Lots of spectacular lightning and a lot of noise but very little rain.  However, the temperature has dropped especially in the  evening so bring a wooly.

We are looking at coming out mid November to monitor any building progress. I anticipate rain and uk type temperatures, would that be about right?

After the snow we experienced in January I want to be prepared.

Hi Kevin and Vera,  Look forward to seeing you then.  I'll let you know what the weather is doing before you come.  We have had very high winds this week and some short sharp showers with hailstones. Lots of thunder and lightning.  We forgot to put the sun umbrella away last night and this morning its in shreds, you have to see it to believe it.  The sun is shining today and in the mid 20's and a lovely day with light but gusty winds. Keep this up and maybe I can get a job as a weather girl.  Going up to Santa Ana delMonte site tomorrow to see if there are any changes or anything to report.

Sounds more and more like Southern Africa when we even han huge dents in the car roof from hailstones the size of tennis balls and I lost acrop of 200hectares that looked like sliced lettuce in the lands

Hi Kevin we also spent some time living in south africa and remember the size of them hailstones about the size of a golf ball so we are hoping that none will be appearing in the villa ie through the window.

How long is it since you were there iam sure you will agree that it is a fantastic country the scenery is great.

we managed  to get out and about when we lived there and have seen most ot the places one would like to see.

Hi Kevin and Hi Tasha.  I also lived in Africa.  Various  parts of it over a period of 6 years albeit 30 years ago.  The weather is  not dissimilar here really.    3 years ago in Jumilla the hailstones shattered windows and made big holes in some of the apartment blocks but that was extreme and I have not seen the like since.  The mountains and hills also mean that the weather can be different 5 kms down the road.
