Well, what a nice day we had in Murcia city yesterday! The purpose of our visit to change the ownership of our new Spanish plated Renault modus to our name.. Whilst it took a little time, with breaks at a nice coffee shop, and a pleasant lunch at the cafe beside the cathedral, we encountered no problems. The girls at the Jelfatura de Trafico and at the Consejeria deHacienda were most helpful, and helped us fill in the complicated forms. The only drawbacks were the 8 Euros commission at the Caja de Murcia inside the Consejeria de Hacienda where it seems to have a monopoly (we should have brought cash) and the 7.50 euros parking charges.
