There was no spraying last year either.
We are coming over 21st June
Might be an idea to pop in the office and have a word with Jordi.
Trying to eat outside in the daytime was a nightmare, even sun bathing tested your patience with them.

Garry We have just returned from HDA and the flies were particularly bad. Something needs to be done to limit the amount from the neighbouring farms etc We also noticed how little security were patrolling compared to previous visits. On a positive note the new bar , supermarket and bakery were progressing and should be open soon in the Spanish village ..... The weather was fantastic too !!

Hi, Me & my family have booked a villa for 2 weeks in July (first visit to Hacienda Del Alamo) but wondering if the flies are really a big issue & if so what can we do to reduce the number? Thanks,

Hi, We have a place on Hacienda and always buy red top fly traps before we go over, they do work. The last time we were over in May, they were doing the spraying, but didn't see them changing the exiting fly traps. Thomas

Hi,
What are Red Top Fly Catchers???? We live here and use citronela candles like they're going out of fashion. They are good but the only way to get over them is by fly screening your patios. There is a mosquito spray in Mercadona that you spray on yourself and the flies dont land on you at all!! It fab. It sold by the suncreams. There are so many pig farms around, and when they turn the crop fields over and mix in the manure in they are particularly bad. We live in the campo but lived on HDA for 3 yrs and they are worse there than they are here because the fields around our house get sprayed.

Dex The flies are not usually as bad in July and August as they are in may / June so you should be fine. Thomas ... What are red top fly traps ?? I will also try the mozzi body spray , thanks ness
