 All

I was in with customer services last week and they advised that they still didn't have a date for the completion of the clubhouse.

They quoted that only 350 people have completed and that they have to pay the community fees on the empty properties etc etc.

They also said that there were not enough people on the site to make it viable. All bull as far as I am concerned.

I think we (the people who have completed) need to get together as a group and apply some serious pressure as it is a very unsatisfactory situation.

Any thoughts?

Regards

Jonathan

You could get together and get a solicitor to take Corvera to court because they haven't fulfilled their contract viv a vis advertised facilities. You would be able to get a retroactive reduction in the price of your properties or maybe become entitled to have the resort finished properly in a required time.

I think people on Roda were on this track.

Get a trustworthy solicitor's advice.

Hi all

There appears to be a catch 22, they appear to be unwilling to complete the clubhouse until more purchasers complete and the purchasers are unlikely to complete without a clubhouse.

I have heard from several lawyers on this point and they all agree that Corvera have to provide the promised advertised facilities by law, even though they were not explicitly stated in the contract. They can not use the excuse that purchasers have not completed blah blah blah. So I agree with twofish that you should get together to apply some sort of pressure. I wouldn't like to be trying to rent or resell a property on a golf course with out a clubhouse ( or with out all the other promised facilities).

Until recently were they not promising to complete the clubhouse by the end of the year?
