I realise that this forum is not for advertising but felt it necessary to high light a cleaning & management company that has been involved with HDA since the very beginning, whom have 'purchased' and furnished an office in The Spanish Village!

It's all very well these 'Jack and Jill'  management companies that spring up overnight, offering very competitive prices, or what appear to be, to service our properties here, who have little or no overheads, no true experience or training ( I mean how difficult is it to clean a swimming pool, right) have no financial commitment to HDA, who do not pay the relevant taxes, have the right insurance and most importantly, when everything goes wrong can disappear without trace, as quickly as they appeared!

I for one believe that we should be supporting local businesses that are committed to Hacienda del Alamo just as much as we, the property owners are!

I agree to make a comitment to set up in the Spanish village was a big desicion but unfourtunatly at the moment if you are lucky enough to rent your property the rental price is very low so a lot of people would be attracted to any cleaning company to offer an attractive price.hdavillasandgardens offered a price of €70 to clean a 3bed 3bath villa including washing the linen, cleaning windows ovens ect.In the UK  you would get a least 7hrs cleaning for this amount of money. They did say that they were on Resort.

I think that anyone who could give an HONEST sevice for this price would do very well.

To be honest, I haven't tried their service but have read posts suggesting that the 70€ doesn't include matrerials and once it's all added together the price comes out about the same!

You might get 10 hours cleaning in the UK, I assume, paid in cash and I'm sure that if you found a local here you would get the same, but then who organises them and makes sure they are doing what youv'e asked them to?

On their website it did say it was all inclusive.after all, all you need to clean a house is water polish, and labour.

You misread my post.I said that you could get 7 hrs cleaning in the UK which works out at €10 per hour.

The councils in london pay under £7 per hour.
