phase 4 information

we are due to complete on a unit in phase 4 , does anyone have any information on why calidona only appear to be building up to block 8 ? ( no responce from calidona ) .

my concerns are that if the whole of phase 4 is not completed those of us completing will be living on a building site for the forseeable future ( not good after a four year wait )

it is my understanding that building licences were issueed for the whole of phase 4 for completion by may 2010 , if that is the case does that constitute non completion by the developer ? 

any information would be greatly appreciated .

Going out next week will see what is happening, last visit where building to end of Aveneda del Golf are  you after this ? not sure where 4b starts.

We are on Phase 4A Block 3. Would appreciate if you could take some photos and post on EOS on your return.

Phase 4A finishes with Block 8 I believe.

I think 4b starts at block 9.  Last time we were over all of 4b was a group of holes in the ground that have been there for a long time.

Yes you are correct, phase 4A is Blocks 1 - 8 inclusive & phase 4B is block 9 onwards.

Phase 4a is the Brisa apartments 80% is sold. Phase 4b apartments 40%-50% is sold. Clients on 4b who do not want to wait are being offered  key ready apartment on Phase 1,2 & 3.

All I no is that the Cranes have not moved for over a month on Phase 4.

It doesn"t look very good for the future , Calidona/ Roda should issue a Statement about the lack of activity from the Builders espially in the present Climate ( Polaris ) etc

We should also hear  very  soon about the planned Hotel and Commercial Centre, but I think we will get another story and Nothing will be built, I sincerly hope I am wrong

Calidona are cutting every thing back /away , sadly its points to lack of incoming income or  infact  they have enough of their own funds

Lets hope we get a late Xmas present when they announce their actions

Do you mean that the cranes have stopped working on phase4a which is ment to be finished in may2010 or they have not moved them onto 4b yet?

Well I am not sure 4a or 4b

All I no is that the unfinished Phase behind all the Villa"s have not moved for at least a month

My Husband played golf at the end of November and again mid-December and we looked yesterday and no men no movement at all from the site,

Maybe somebody else on the forum can re-confirm I have the right Phae 4 ?

Maybe a call to Customer Services at Roda will help ?

When I was there in early September they were just commencing the brick infill walls to the building frame. Can you please let me know if there has been any movement since then or how much progress. I cannot see them being completed by May 2010 if not much has been done.

I know when last there at end of october they had all walls infilled and pools dug and the concrete work done on the pools.

id say they may be on holidays now but would be interesting to see if any men return to the site in new year and if not then theres no money to finish is they only thing i can see been the reason. On the loyalty thing that we signed dec08 it said they had to be finished by may2010 but the builfer had another 30 days grace and if this is not fulfilled then the contract IS NULL AND VOID

so they will be trying their best to get them done

Could calidona be next after polaris????

i know there is a lot of unsurety but a good thing must be that you are now going to be in control of your own finances.its not all doom and gloom. a lot of your outgoings can be reduced by sourcing your own contractors.it might take a year to settle but overall i think you will all benefit in the the long run(your cutting out the middle man). its a lovely development and im sure it will develop its potential in time to come.
