ocean pines

We are just about to complete on an Ocean Pines apartment - we should have taken over New Years Eve 2005!  After a long hard year we are almost there, and have to say, that Rushcliffe have been very generous with compensation etc.  We haven't seen the finished apartment yet but hope to travel out to Spain next week. Don't know what the future holds but at the moment  are feeling more positive than we have done in the last year - has been a bit of a nightmare!  Any tips for us new-comers? We won't be living in Spain, but hope to visit regularly, and let the apartment for maybe 4 months a year.

Just seen your post and wondered if you've been out to Spain to finalise your purchase at OP? and how did you find the development ? We think others must have moved in as seen it available on holiday rental sites.

We have asked to withdraw from our contract due to length of delays but not heard anything back about this yet.

We have bought on Ocean Pines and have completed in 12/06. We are renting our property out . but i agree with you both the whole process has been a a management nightmare. The whole development was some 18 months behind schedule. But having now moved in and had the apartment fully furnished it does look fab.

Would love to hear from others who have moved in. Would like to know how you found the developers / the whole buying process
