Hi Mr Polo

Thank you, thank you, oh thank you.  I feel wanted at last.

The list is growing day by day.  Who knows from a small thread a huge cardigan may grow!!

If it carries on like this block 82 may become the Roda Communal Centre, I suppose like a 'Roda Working Mans Club', (affiliated), or the Calidona 'Drop in Centre' where we all sit about on bean bags, chill out and generally doss about.

This may be my next project to turn my place into the Roda WMC.  Who needs a De Vere?  I bet they would'nt have snooker, darts and dommies, warm beer, pork scrathings, picked eggs, sawdust on the floor, Elvis tribute nights, karaoke and bingo. eh?  Sounds a damn sight more fun than a tuxedo dinner dance with Lobster Thermidor and a white wine jus and dancing to Herby Posilthwates Jazz Quintet.

Come on now this is really what we all want, what we really really want.  Am I right or am I right?

I feel exciting times ahead!

Baron.

Read and weep jdy, read and weep.

You, along with any other renegades, will be made most welcome.  Just bring your flat cap and a ferret and lets rock and roll!

I am now staring to think about gaining planning permission for my ventuire into the pub trade from the local council and one of the main areas of possible confrontation with them will be the illuminated 'Tetleys' sign outside, what do you think?

We did comment on our last trip that a wee 'refreshment' shop was what was required in phase 3/3b to save the big long walk to get anywhere remotely interesting......never mind  thinking about pub trade via the council, just set one up on site (on the big patch of mud that I assume is meant to be garden between us and the lemon groves)  Sell a few bacon butties and sausage rolls with a beer thrown in and a bit of music - fabulous!!

Hello Mr Scottebabe and thank you for the support.

Well my friend, when we get set up there will be no need to do the 'Big long walk.'  In fact I can see not only the fine owners on the complex gracing their presence in our establishment, but........and think about it,...... the staff of Roda Golf and Beach Resort!!

See, the Spanish really do need to be introduced to the cullinary delights of the great British 'Greasy Spoon Caff'.  Tapas is great, Paella is a treat to behold, but a greasy bacon and egg butty with HP brown sauce and a mug of Typhoo is quite simply the dogs.  The upside to all this is when they become regulars, like pay their €2,50 a month dues, the chances of getting anything done on site will increase 100 fold.  It would be one big happy family not us and them.  All the solicitors in the surrounding area will be put out of business overnight, because we would not need them

I can also see the site workers paying a visit, albeit somewhat curiously at the start, but as time goes on you will see them all with egg dribbling down their chin and HP on their vests.

Dear BP

Are you really a Baron or just plain Mr Penthouse?
