Moving To Spain

Hi, my husband and I are moving to Spain and are opening a business hopefully before the end of 2011, are we mad?!

Just wondering are we wise moving to Spain in the present economic crisis? My husband and I hoped to move and open a small business in the Costa Blanca area before the end of 2011 but are having second thoughts now as things seem to be quite bad in Spain at present but I suppose are just as bad here. Any advice from those already in Spain would be welcomed. Thanks.

It really depends what it is you want to set up and who you want to target. There are always opportunities even during tough times.

Just make sure you have plenty of money to set up the business and survive whilst you establish it and generate a good income.

Also, make sure you understand the costs involved in running a business in Spain, it's not cheap.

Hi there, the question should be what do you bring to the party? If it is something new and different, if it is Internet based, if it is something with strong demand but low supply...
If it is to open a bar then just don't go there!
