The galgueros deny they hang dogs, they say it never happens now. I have seen with my own eyes that this is not true. And here is yet more proof that they lie. This is Julia;
'Human cruelty has no limits and is clearly reflected in our little Julia. It does not take much imagination to feel the pain she has suffered, yet the hunters deny once again they do this, so cruel and heartless.
Julia appeared a few days ago in a field, people who worked there gave her food, but she would not let anyone near her, she had a rope hanging around her neck dragging, she screamed in pain if it pinched her or she stepped on it. Thanks to Nuria and her father, Julia has been rescued.
You will see in the photos what terrible pain she has endured, even in some parts the skin had grown over the rope. Now she is safe in the veterinary hospital at the moment, the wounds being treated every day as it has been impossible When she awok from sedation and found it did not hurt as much, her attitude changed and she could bear for us to touch her, but hesitantly as though she has never been touched kindly!
It is not the first time that this has happened to her. Although it is not shown in the photos, there has been a rope or wire strapped to her belly at some point, because the scarring is there and it will never completely heal.
