There is an ABSOLUTE NEED to highlight the plight of galgos (greyhounds) in Spain. This blog is to help the refuge, Galgos Del Sol in Murcia, Costa Blanca. http://www.perrosdelsol.es/ or http://www.galgosdelsol.es/ (Both link to same site)

A young podenco (male) ... maybe 6 mths old .. has been found wandering the streets of Playa Flamenca, near Torrevieja, Costa Blanca. He will go to the vet tomorrow, Monday 14th March. Maybe he will be microchipped. What's the chances of finding his owner on a scale of 0-10? ZERO..........

He has been named Ollie & is currently being looked after by the Galgos del Sol refuge.

You leave no stone unturned. Quick of the mark. Well done. Lets hope he has an owner and just sneeked out. If not we will do everything in our power to find him a home.
