Legal tip 684. Unanimity in Community of Owners
18 January 2012 @ 22:44

In the Spanish Horizontal Property Act a valid unanimity is that of owners present in a Community of owners meeting, being enough quorum, and the meeting being validly called

Not all the members need to be present, but all need to have been validly and legaly called.

Maria, Thanks for your continued helpful advice on Community affairs.

Our Community committee is proposing to introduce a new Constitution, to replace the old one. Does this have to be AGREED by all residents before it can be introduced?

Also does the Constitution have to included in everybodies Escritura, and if so, who would have to pay for this to be done?

Thanks
