Here's a trick. Try to find out what the charges are on your bank account and make comparisons with other banks. It's almost impossible to find the information and no standard charge comparisons (cost for a transaction, cost of a cashpoint withdrawal, cost for paying money in, cost for making direct debits - and don't get swayed by small percentages, they add up when a salary is involved). We were trying to put this information online, but it's next to impossible to find.
