If using Ambasun watch out for their financial advisor - it cost me £5000 that I am fighting to get back

Amba Sun has a dodgy financial advisor - Extreme caution advised

I had a great trip with AmbaSun locating perfect property - BUT they have an in house Independant Financial Advisor (Teresa Lovett) who gave us inaccurate financial advise. causing us to deposit £5000 on a property. When the incorrect advise prevented us purchasing the property, we found Teresa Lovett seemingly has no qualifications, tried to stitch up the UK financial advisor we used on the remortgage and actually gave incorrect figures from the start. Unfortunatly Amba Sun do not understand the issue, will not return our deposit, but offered more thanthe deposit to enable us to complete. They have never understood the position their advisor has put us in either. She was also very lax in her organisation and unhelpful when filling out forms etc. It was very suspicious thet they would offer anything to get the sale through, but not our deposit back.. Also what we were being offred mortgage wise was as far as I could find out, illegal in Spain. There is something very fishy going on there.

I would be grateful of anyone who has experienced similar and how they managed to get their deposit back. I am forwarding the complaint to the spanish equivilent of the FSA - Is their anyone else who should be informed, this can be stopped.

I am involved with a Spanish Off Plan Construction in Jumilla Spain, which has gone pear shaped and I was introduced to it by Ambasun who had offices in Birmingham (UK) and Cabo Roig(Spain).
They seem to have disappeared from the Radar, if you know where they are based know, I would be very grateful if you would share the information.

If you ring the telephone number at the top of the page, the manager is a k..b head (his name is Mr Hurst). He has an attitude that stinks and he deserves to be in prison. He said the Town Hall in Spain have been keeping their post and they have changed their address on numberous occasions. You will not see any of your money if you have gone via Ambasun because they are as crooked as they come.

Their Head Office which was based in Birmingham has gone into liquidation (lasgt year) but you will be able to speak to a nice man who has taken over the offices on 01675 43781, the offices are now owned by Irwin Mitchell. Sorry to sound so bitter but Ambasun are crooks and do not deserve to be able to sell properties at all. My advice is dont go near them with a barge poll. I have posted this on EOS on a number of occasions but still people fall into their trap.

Thanks folks, we've been looking for these crooks for some time. Stole money from my credit card without my permission. Had my credit card details for initial deposit and when I returned to UK realised they had also taken extra €700 euros. Will be visiting them shortly...

I am afraid you are sadly all wasting you time as they went into liquidation this year.I worked for them for 3 years but left before they changed their name to Ambasun Ccsta Blanca,and sack all of their staff with no redundancy payment.They were Ambasun international in Spain.

This is not their most up to date address,but they are still on the Commercial La Ronda and a now called SPAIN PROPERTIES or something very close to that.They have changed their name but are still trading.Mr Hurst has been threatened many times but its mostly just all talk.All of Ambasuns assets were were taken away by La Guardia but they have been allowed to start a new business next door to the office under a different name.
