In today's newsletter we featured a really disturbing account of the poor treatment received by an expat who had private healthcare insurance in Spain. It's a letter of complaint sent by the wife of the deceased man to the medical insurance company. You can read a copy of the letter at:

I think it's important for people to read this letter, it's not just about the poor treatment received but also the terrible way in which the funeral was handled. It's often a subject that no one really likes to think about these things are different in Spain and it's best to be prepared or make sure arrangements are made well in advance.
