I gave this restaurant another go in July 2010 with my mother. Nothing had changed, still over priced and in my opinion a glorified barbeque! Its not too far from where I am in Casares and I won't be making a return visit to it this summer. There are loads of excellent restaurants in the area serving far superior food at a fraction of the cost.  Maybe we had a different menu to Matresscleaning but I can assure you it wasn't 20 euros per head! They were charging 27.95 EUR0S pet head last summer and dessert and drinks were still extra. Perhaps there are two Roman Oasis?

Hi All

I am trying to plan a route from Ireland to Spain and I would really appreciate any suggestions or help. Roughly how long will it take and which route would be best bearing in mind the dog!. I have everthing in place for the dog to travel but I also need to factor in stops and ferries. Is it better to drive through France? I'd love to hear from anyone who has driven the route. Thanks

Hi there Tolly99.

it would be great if you could give some directions for La Pampa and la casa mi abuela. I've driven passed Swing and have never got round to trying it. What kind of food do they serve and what price range? I will give it a go when I'm back out in April. We love El Estribo in Sabinillas for steak. It's really good, we've never had a bad meal. La Casona is also very good on the main road between Sabinillas and Estepona.
