We are moving to Spain probably in early 2007.  I am 60 yrs old and have diabetes.  Will I be able to get insulin on the Spanish national health system? I would be grateful for any replies from anyone with knowledge or experience in this situation.

Hola

We are Pat & Ray who are buying number 16 Phase 2 at La Aparecida. Alan, who's apartment we are renting for a week  on 15 October ( see previous message) has told us about this site. It's great to see messages from other buyers and I,m sure it will be really helpful to share information and experiences. We see from previous messages that Nigel & Joanne will be just across the pool and garden from us - hello to you both. Obviously we can't wait to see how things are developing and it will be nice to be staying in a finished apartment - we can get a feel for how ours will be. We asked Activa at what stage do they contact us about furniture/mods etc and Tanja has advised that they should be sending a list out soon. We shall be getting our NIE's and doing a bit of research about buying cars and other practicalities about moving to Spain as we are hoping to take early retirement and be there full time some time during 2007. Will post any further news as it comes along.
