We are moving to Spain probably in early 2007.  I am 60 yrs old and have diabetes.  Will I be able to get insulin on the Spanish national health system? I would be grateful for any replies from anyone with knowledge or experience in this situation.

in anticipation

Ray

My son is diabetic and we are currently in the process of possibly purchasing off plan.  I mentioned at the time if anything were to happen to his insulin while abroad would we be able to get it and was told yes, I know that's different to yur situation as I think in that case it would have to be paid for, but you could possibly look into someone at home sending it out to you every so often.
