On previous threads I have mentioned trouble we have had with developers in the San Juan de los terreras resort

We put 50% deposit down 3 and a half years ago

Despite being well over the due date the developers started to go back on their word regarding fitted kitchen and us to choose our own tiles

After much stress trying to contact the lawyer we had been allocated ,so to speak

We decided to contact Maria de castro an excellent english speaking lawyer

She came straight back to us telling us our rights

Any way 3 months on and we have our deposit back safely in our bank and with a good amount of interest

She made it seem very straight forward

and always responds quickly to my emails

Yes more or less the same as carol

but as i said on another post maria de castro has been very helpful

and always keeps you up to date

Hi

We are also trying to get our money back

with the help of Maria de Castro , she has been very helpful and always keeps you up to date with developments

she has after 1 month negociated with developer and they have agreed to pay us our 50% deposit back plus interest in out of court settlement

we are trying to get some of the solicitors fees paid also but we havent had word on that as yet!

which development are you purchasing on in san juan

we are on the noravel appartments

running 3 years behind at the moment and coming up against problems with the builder and agents

The contract is like a seive with just as many holes in it

but i have since had a reply from maria de castro who thinks she maybe able to help so fingers crossed
