Hi,

We are moving to Spain in November but not as residents. We are both on repeat prescriptions for diabetes/blood pressure/high cholesterol. Our prescriptions are free, we are both over 60 yrs so we do not want to have to pay for them in Spain..

We can only get two months at a time. Obviously we may not be back in the UK every two months.

Is it possible for a relative/friend to get the medications posted out to us or will they be seized because they are drugs?

Thank you

Just had word back from the Administrators in response to a question about LFOs. Manzana 6 Bloques 1.2.3. and 4 have their licences. They attached the documents regarding the court ruling, but you have to get a copy of the Licence from the Town Hall.As far as I can tell by translation this happened in November 2012!  We will try and get a copy of the Licence in the New Year. After so long I will be able to believe it then!!

Community thread: occupation licence and valuations

Just had a read through some of posts here.

How sad that some of the encouragement back in 2010 has gone so badly wrong. Still no licence , and worse still just can't find out what is going on.

One Lawyer said for 300 euros they would write to the Council to investigate!

The prices are heartbreakingly low due to the recession and lack of licence. People are practically giving their properties away and enduring huge losses.

Owners who have not paid any community fees are getting off with renting out their properties, and unfortunately those renting think they are in Benedorm ignoring Community Rules regarding Pool areas etc.

Owners renting out their properties are still churning out the old rubbish in adverts about amenities on La Reserva note we have lost two Restaurants, hopefully Andy's will always be there plus the very good Chinese.

You must have a car to holiday here. Yes Cabapino is lovely and we are very lucky to have it so close on the door step but we need to be vigilant about how La Reserva develops. It is primarily a residential development with people living and working there.

People renting out their properties should be displaying the Community Rules in the apartments . There should also be a consideration for the residents who live there permanently.

All this apart we love being there and  just hope it stays as it is. Some day the Licence will come, but sadly too late to make any difference for some. As for prices recovering not for a long time although the Licence would help a bit.

Trying this thread to see if anyone has any information regarding the process for us to get our official proof of LFO.

We are included in the new PGOU as legal so what is going on? I have tried online lawyers and they do not know and seem to think I want to sue the develope., which we don't could not afford it anyway!

A lawyer has said they would contact the Town Hall on our behalf, the cost being 300 euros, but I am not sure they would know either.

Is this still going through the courts?
