Completed in October 2008, "The Eagle" is a beautiful and unique villa in the lovely small, select and exclusive Golf Resort of La Tercia, situated among the orange groves, a mere 20 minute drive from the beaches of both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean, on the Costa Calida coast of Spain. It is only a 20 minute drive from the airports of St Javier(Murcia) and the new airport at Corvera. It is 1 hour from Alicante airport. The villa occupies an outstanding position on the corner of the main Resort Avenue, with only a 200 yard walk to the Golf Course and Club House, or the tennis courts and bowling greens. The small private swimming pool in the garden is salt water, which is much more economical to maintain, and kinder to the skin and environment than chlorine. Owners can also use all the other large swimming pools in the Resort.
The aspect of the villa gives sunshine from dawn till dusk, but the terraces are all around the house, so there is always shade if this is required.
The garden is beautifully landscaped, with many established flowers and plants, with an automatic irrigation system, and is always well looked after and much enjoyed.
Except for the kitchen, utility room and bathrooms, which are tiled, the floors throughout are of light reflecting pale creamy marble, as is the stunning open feature staircase.
Auxilliary solar heating for the water is very effective, and saves gas. The central vacuum cleaning system is also very effective and desirable.
The valuation for mortgage on completion, was 448,000 euros, and a further 15,000 euros was spent on finishings, furnishings and the garden.
The master bedroom has patio doors to a private balcony, with an en-suite bathroom with in-bath shower. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes, central heating and air conditioning.
The villa is actually in Gea y Truyols district, and not Torre-Pacheco as in the heading ( the nearest big town on the drop-down list!)
