For info.  the error was with the communites bank and not my own bank and I agree I dont expect colin to be chasing me for the monies, this is why a letter should of been issued from laura stating arrears which is normal working practice. the first I heard of my monies not being received 2 months ago was last week, when I immediatley contacted colin to resolve and was advised "dont worry about it, go and have a G & T and I will discuss this with Laura as theres obvioulsy an error somewhere!" so believe me it was me doing the runaround, even taking the morning off work. then the first time i find out they did receive the payment was when the debt list was placed in the swimming pool notice board.  so im sorry but for me, i find this quite disturbing.

I certainly do not require an enhanced service thankyou, as Im more than capable of sorting out my own finances, but I wonder how you would feel if this error had happened to you, and you were publicly black listed.

and for the record I think colin has done some really positive work for the community, but on this occasion I feel deeply disappointed that I have even had to make these public imature statements.

Please can you advise me why my name is on your black list of unpaid community fees, when I made the 1st payment in april, and at the same time set up direct debit, I have even shown you the receipt I had from the bank, after you continually harrassed my daughter for the money last week. (which is unacceptable, when i asked you to confirm non receipt to myself immediatley, so I could chase up the problem) I am still awaiting a reply from laura and yourself as to where my money has gone.  
for this reason I beleive you have acted unprofessionly with the petty literature you have used in your  recent newsletter concerning this matter, and I certainly disagree on the process you have followed to obtain the monies.
I  agree that everyone has to pay the fee, as this was agreed prior to purchase, however I feel you should of contacted individuals whos monies  you have not recieved as yet, in a written format to make them aware that there is a problem as there maybe a lot more people who have paid and the error has occured.
I think you should then send them a legal letter individually, with costs attached so the community does not suffer the penalties. 
Having worked in a debt profession I have never experienced anything as imature and unprofessional to the process and litarture you have used on this occasion.
I am very dissapointed that I have been shamed into publicly processing this statement on this site, as I certainly did not move here to deal with all this nonsense.

I really appreciate your response, does a solicitor have to act on your behalf or can we do this ourself, as i suppose the solicitor will charge a high fee for this?

hi there,

im not sure if your after the time scale on when the highspeed ave train will be in use on balsicas, but as far as im aware it should be useable by 2010.. woo hoo!  i actually caught a train to madrid a few weeks ago, which was a pleasent journey, took about 4 and half hours, but was very comfortable as well as being very scenic. : )
