There is a great Sunday market near Guardamar. To get there from Torrevieja will take about 10 - 15 mins.

Directions: go onto the N332 heading towards Guardamar and follow this road for about three or four miles. You will pass a huge billboard sign that says "Cheyanne" on your left hand side and then about half a mile past this you will see a small road sign for a place called Los Montisinos - turn left here and follow the road for about half a mile and you will see lots of cars turning left and disappearing into what looks like a field (you can't see the market but it is there). I only found it by following other cars.

This is a great market as it's very big and there are plenty of cafes as well so you can have your breakfast or lunch and make it  good day out. I hope you enjoy it.

A firefighter was working on the engine outside the station when he noticed a little girl nearby in a little red wagon with little ladders hung off the sides and a garden hose tightly coiled in the middle.

 

The girl was wearing a firefighters helmet. The wagon was being pulled by her dog and her cat.

 

The firefighter walked over to take a closer look. "That sure is a nice fire truck," he said with admiration.

 

"Thanks" the little girl replied.

 

The firefighter looked a little closer and noticed that the girl had tied the wagon to her dog's collar and to her cat's testicles.

 

"Little Partner," the firefighter said, "I don't want to tell you how to run your rig, but if you were to tie that rope around the cat's collar, I think you could go faster."

 

The girl replied thoughtfully, "You're probably right sir, but then I wouldn't have a siren."

Hi P&T,

Don't know if there is anything left on phase one but I'm looking for a re-sale Albatross or Open property and I noticed that there is an there is an Eagle for sale on Eye on Spain, direct from owners at 155,000 euros, have a look and see what you think.

I believe the the Open style properties in the next phase will be called Open Plus and they will have a large basement. Does anyone know if there are any Open Plus properties already built or is this just for ones that are for sale off plan now?
