We live in Alcala itself and found it really nice and friendly, its not a place if you want the expat life as its very Spanish and most of the English heard there are from people living in villages outside. Its convenient for everything and possible to live there with no car. We get lots of festivals etc that the villages outside do not seem to get, We like it.

Could somebody help me with the following

Is there a  maximum number of MCB per RCD in a consumer unit, I heard it was 5, if  I have more than 5 do I split the MCB over two RCB?

Is a surge protector mandatory?

What size wires are used for the various circuits?

Is there a web link for wiring up a consumer unit with double pole MCB, I have done single pole MCB in the UK with no problem but not tackled double pole MCB before?
