My husband and I have owned a property in Benalmadena for a few years and recently moved to Benalmadena Pueblo. Benalmadena has a huge expat community.  We thought about moving to Alicante a few years ago because you get bigger properties for your money and we did reserve a property there before the credit crunch, thankfully only lost a small deposit, but decided against it as we love Costa del Sol so much.  We plan to move next year for good. Good luck no matter where you decide, both areas are nice.

Hi, we currently own a property in Benelmadena and are hoping to move to Costa Blanca South within next few years.  Can anyone recommend a nice quiet residential area.  We visited last year and put a deposit on Laguna Green, but unfortunately couldn,t sell our apartment.  Still like this area and surrounding.
