I was in Benidorm last week and one exchange were advertising 1.46 but the small print said it had to be in excess of £3000.00 the real rate being 1.21 !!

I then found one exchange with a very long queue - they were actually giving 1.46 on all exchanges.

Ideal if you need small amounts exchanging whilst on holiday.

Just transferred a large amount to Spain with MONEYCORP.  They offered 1.478 and asked if it was okay.  I said I would have liked more and they offered 1.48  There was a £15.00 transfer fee.  Perhaps its worth haggling.

Can anyone confirm if there are any rules regarding the photographs required for the NIE numbers.  Obviously they will be passport size, but does the background have to be light or dark.  Thanks
