Mariadecastri: No its not a pook based community. We have about 80 dwellings arranged around a central plaza which used to be commercial with different shop types, but now only has bars and a restraunt. To the southern side of the Plaza is the swimming pool through whch those with properties on the southside pass to get to the bars.

Karensun:   It would be difficult for anybody to fall in the pool from the pathway, and it has not happened in the 20 yrs we have been there.

Abolex:  That seems to confirm its not an EC rule or a Spanish rule so I will check if its an Andalucian rule.

Can anybody tell me if there is a new law requiring pools to be locked up when not in use?
Our community pool area has a pathway running through it which is used by half the community to access the restranunt, and bars.  If there is a new law, would it apply in this case?
and what are other communities doing that have pathways through their pool area?
