you are quite wrong about others not reading this message boards.  I think most on the other site do in fact.

I'm sorry you have taken this view on your other contacts.  However, as a matter of courtesy, I think you that you should have informed the others of what you say you know.   That is of course up to you, but although we are all agreed the spec is not up to standard, the delays have been awful, things are now moving on.  You have every right for recourse as you see fit.  What I fail to understand with you, is that why you have to try and wind people up, and then you just disappear!

If you are still reading these boards, I wish you well, because I actually think you need it.

I know we are in all the same boat, but just wanted to say Hi to all, feeling totally fed up and beyond with all this c**p - been involved for 3 years, but it feels like 30!  Logged on and I just wish we could all receive good news for a change.

Said many times, but it truly is unbelievable this situation has happened.  Friends of ours have had problems with properties in Spain but not to this degree.  Things is, we did all the checks we could, and more, but I guess, we were just too trusting in the initial stages with the agents we were involved in.

Now paying for something that seems like a nightmare, instead of our dream.  Our solicitor seems at a lost of what to do, and says we should be patient!!!. 

Anyway, moan over, thanks for listening.  Tomorrow is another day.

Hi folks

I have an email from a chap who advertises his apartment for rent on our compex.  (I use the term loosely).  i.e. phase 1

he has confirmed that he has electricity and water - with no problems.

I know I'm just a girlie, but I don't understand how he is ok, and the other phases not.  Surely if there is elect going to the site, how come we aren't all plugged into it. Or whaterver it is they have to do. 

I know the answer won't be simple, but hey humour me.

We have a property in El Golco.  news is filtering back there are problems with the temp power.  We appear to have been cut off from this now, although power was on a few months back, as we had lights fitted and working.

the mains should have been connected, but there are problems with the builder (we believe)

Our solicitor is working on it, but does anyone have any idea how we can get temp electricity restored.
