09 June 2009:We have just come back from another lovely week in guardamar where we rented an apartment just by the dunes/pine forest. At night there is a bird that makes a noise like a car alarm, in fact the first time we stayed there we did think that was what it was, my husband has even walked through the forest at night looking for it,but apart from it being too dark to see anything he just succeeded in getting half bitten to death by mossies. Has anyone else heard it or are we both crackers?
