hello every one, we have been living in novo arcos now for four months,we also have a van and can offer our services for man and van at 100 ,euros per day for anyone wanting transportation to and back from ikea,you can telephone dave or geoff on 645593002 or 635014908 these are spanish mobiles so you will need to add your 0034 before this,

my name is geoff by the way ,called my self happy go lucky when i my self was going through the frustration , can i just recomend that for kitchens we down loaded the ikea brochure from england planned the kichen before we went ,and took the plan and item numbers with us they are the same item numbers in spain. you could go to sevill.we had the help of a lovely couple that advertised on the internet with a van, if i can find the imformation at sometime i will place this on the forum may help someone, i know that her sister lives in the old town arcos, so maybe if someone is reading this it will jog a memory, and hopefully they can reply with this. anyway good luck everyone,ps there spanish was very good and came in realy usefull at the ikea check out.

yes i to can understand your frustration we had two wasted trips , i am presuming that you mean this is for your completion at the notori,am i right ?.not just for furniture instalation or something. if it is for the notorie take my advise and give power of oterney to your solicitor for this, i know that it is quite daunting especialy when your not there, but we had lois mendez and he saw to this for us.i suppose at the end of the day it is your decision but thank god we did it, otherwise we would have had a lot more wasted trips, hope every thing goes smooth for you and you never know we may just meet up in arcos some time

hello everyone i am afraid completion was not that smooth for us after going to the notory 5 times,if it wasnt cars braking down ,builders holls, paper work not in place,and so on, but i will say this we were very glad in the end we had given lois mendes power of attornie, as far as utilities were concerned lois took care of this for us,we did then have the added advantage of having sunset then for theback up but sadly for some this was not the case and we felt so sorry for those that had not completed before there bankrupcy.
