Just to finalise the community web presence, we have loaded up the public information from the community site

We hope this will help protect new owners from being badly advised by estate agents, who lets face it once they have your money are not interested after that in helping you.  We as a community, that new owners join, will exist as long as there are properties!! The fact of the matter remains that every bank owned property as of today, 12th September has debt on it and any new owner becomes legally liable when they commplete if the debt is still there -  no clause in any deal with the bank or in any deed, supercedes the horizontal law in Spain...

So we continue to urge potential new owners to be careful, we as a community, very much want new owners, but we are faced with having to deal legally with new owners if they complete with debt on the apartment, something we want to avoid, hence we try to put the facts out as much as possible.

I've had a few enquires recently about the complex and the apartments that are for sale.  I think this is most likely as the bank is now more actively marketing the properties they own.  To date only one has legally completed ie signed at the notary and become the new legal owner, and in doing so joined the community.

For some information on the community, note though we have nothing to do with the selling of the apartments and cannot answer anything on the sales.  We do run all the communal areas of the complex as the community of owners as per the Horizontal Property Law

Hi Jim

Once any owner legally completes, they will get full access to the community email group and new website and the current owners/officials will be happy to answer any questions etc.  However coming out of our various ongoing disputes with the bank, we have been told by the bank they do not wish us to engage with any potential owners, therefore I am unable to answer anything specific until you complete, the bank has all the relevant information you may need and should share that with you.

I can say the current owners have been managing the complex successfully since 2008 and will continue to do so regardless of the bank, we will happily welcome new owners once they resolve the legal issues and can complete.

In case of interest to anyone, the bank has finally completed the reposession of the remaining apartments from Rushcliffe (who owned it via a subsiduary Jardines de Montemar S.L.
