 Whilst reading the posts on these forums, I was interested to see a few references to " living on 1000 euros per month".

As we are considering returning to Spain come pension time, some posts on the actual living costs would be useful.  Can you live comfortably on 1000 per month?  Does it depend on where you live?.  I realise it also depends on how you live, however we would not be looking at an extravagant lifestyle, just ordinary day to day life.

 Hola everyone!

Just a quick enquiry about Residencias.  We moved back to the UK 4 years ago for family reasons but now are considering coming back to Spain.

Will we be able to keep our NIE numbers and Residencias or will we need to reapply?

 Hola a todos!

My wife and myself will be moving to Spain later this year when we retire.  We would like to rent long term as opposed to buying.  we have noticed, however, that many of the ads on the various expat sites seem to be for long term holiday rentals.  We want a place we can live in for years as instead of months and would be grateful for any advice, help or information on this subject.  we are thinking of moving to the Murcia or Alicante regions.

Have used Goldcar at San Javier airport through Carjet on four occassions. Have always had new or nearly new vehicle and no problems. That however was last year so maybe things have changed since then.
