Has anybody read the article about Iberdrola ICP confusion in this weeks Euroweekly News? any comments?

It appears that they want to try to upgrade everybody,try is the pertinent word because tens of thousands of properties are sometimes only visited a couple of times a year,so how can they hope to deal with this situation if the owners do not have anybody with keys/access to the properties.

I do several rentals a year and I have an annual 'excess'policy costing £49;I obviously,therefore,do not take out the policy offered by the rental company,however the deposit system seems to vary widely,some do not take anything,some take 300e,and our latest,Victoria,took 700e and debited my account immediately(this is the first time that's happened,the others usually just swipe the card and 'hold' the deposit)

It would be intersting to know other peoples views on this practice.

Having just lost 30 euros through not using all the fuel in my Goldcar rental I was wondering if anyone knows a reputable company that gives refunds if you take the car back with fuel in,having paid for a full tank.
