My wife has just moved to Spain (she left me) but don`t worry I will be joining her in a couple of months. She has being informed that she has to get a residents permit to buy a car, is this true or is there anyway around this. She is in Cantabria so can anyone inform us where would be the best place to go to buy a car and can you barter the price down as you can in the UK.

Saturday, September 06, 2008:Today my daughter had the fright of her life. A small snake grey in colour wih a yellow band around the neck and with a black head crawled out from under the couch. It was only about 4" long so not so big, but I have tried searching to find out if it is poisonous or not, can anyone help. The house is in Cantabria near reinosa if that is of any help.

Saturday, July 26, 2008:We will be moving to Spain in about 8 weeks time and i wonder if anyone can give me some advice. We will require a new kitchen , including oven and electrical hob. Would it be cheaper to buy them in the UK or in Spain. Also will an electric oven and hob work in Spain. any Feedback is welcome.
