We purchased most furniture items from Murcia Furniture as a package, but for health reasons have had to purchase a special mattress for the double bed - hence kingsize mattress for sale at 200 euros ono.

Buyer to collect.

We have also raised this issue with Polaris as our understanding when contracting was that ground and 4th floor penthouses would be allocated the spaces 'under cover' immediately adjoining the section of the Block where they had their property with the 2 spaces opposite being for those on the 2nd and 3rd floors.  As one of us has mobility problems this was particularly important to us.  The numbering of the spaces is not contractual as the owners do not get a numbered space as such, only the right to use one.

Polaris legal department have said that on the Jardins they first gave nominated spaces to each property but owners complained some were too far away etc and so on the Naranjos they did not allocate and owners have again complained about having no allocated space!  For the Penthouses they have left it for owners to sort it out amongst themselves as the parking space numbering bears little relevance to the location of the corresponding penthouse number.

A word of caution!

In our penthouse (ground floor Block 6) one ceiling point and one wall point above the basin were fitted, whereas the show penthouse in Block 10 had two ceiling points and no point above the basin.  The point above the basin is a problem as it is very close to the water pipes that go up from the basin rather than down.  Our fitters drilled into a pipe (fortunately plastic) and this also happened to another owner on the 3rd floor.

We were over in December/January at our property in Penthouse Block 6 and experienced problems with drainage from the bathroom.  After investigation and clearance under the building a blockage was cleared that had affected the toilet and water drainage from the bath and also on one occassion when the washing machine was used.  Water had come up through the round silver plate on the floor.

However, since the drains were cleared we have noticed that water can still come up through the plate when the plug is pulled after having a bath.  It appears that the volume of water is too much for the circular 'filter' system as it runs off to the drain under the toilet.  Having a shower with water flowing with less volume is OK and likewise the washbasin.  It seems to be a design fault or a wrongly fitted floor plate.  I have no knowledge of plumbing but it seems the area between the water run off and the top of the circular plate is too small.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem and have Polaris been able to resolve it?  Anyone with plumbing experience who may know the problem and the solution?

I have raised the issue with the site office but await a response.

We are completing later this month in Block 6.  As a matter of interest how clean did Polaris leave the penthouse or did you have it specially cleaned before you and your furniture arrived?

Are you using builders supply for electricity and water?
