Not being a golfer myself, I wouldn't know but there is La Finca about 5-10 mins drive away in Algorfa (I suppose it must be quite good as it is featured as a destination in a quite upmarket 'golfing holiday' brochure I have seen.  Next nearest is La Marquesa at Ciudad Quesada (10/15mins away).

There are a couple of others relatively close  - campo de Golf Villamartin, Club De Golf Las Ramblas Orihuela & Real Club de Golf Campoamar.

I also think digital locks on basement & stairwell doors are a great idea. To conform to local health & safety regulations they may have all to be coded the same but this should not prove to be a problem as only residents will have the code. I have digital locks on some doors at work & they have proved to be both secure & reliable. Also relatively inexpensive & easily fit. We dont want Mirador to look or feel like a prison. Weak spots in security need to be identified & solved. Digital locks on already mentioned doors & door closers on the others i think will go a long way toward reducing our problem.

We totally agree, Malcolm.  We have always used Carjet over the years and don' t even bother looking anywhere else now.
