Mountains of the Moon have opened their Indian restaurant right on Mojacar Playa, lovely views across the see, but especially great food... a must try if you are in the area.

We went to the open day of Mountains of the Moon at Valle del Este Golf Resort in Vera, free tapas and very nice it was too. Have always enjoyed their food so we went back again a few days later for an evening meal and were not disappointed. Well worth a visit.

Yes Jane B, they are trying very hard to offer a choice of experiences with the buffet, Sunday Mini Indian buffet and carvery lunch as well as the evening menu, which is excellent.

Yes, we had heard that it used to be run as a brothel.... they have quite a bit of work still to do to bring everying back around, it just takes time (and money of course).  Wonder if some past customer have turned up and been asked if they want to see the "menu"....

A new Indian restaurant has opened in Los Gallardos, on the Los Gallardos to Garrucha road in what was known as Loma Blanca.  We have been a few times now and have thoroughly enjoyed their food.  The chef has some different options created by himself, to us it is good homecooked Indian food.  It is at least worth a visit, even just for a drink and see the view across the Cabrera mountains from the terraces.
