We have used Solmar efore on 2 occasions with no problems. The first time we got the fuel payment back as we returned the car with a full tank - the hire period was 5 days. The next time we went for 7 days and I asked on collection if we could do this again and were told no but to bring the car back empty as if was a period of 7days plus.

I have driven it once - all in one go definately not recommended lol. We travelled through Eurotunnel, via Reims, Lyon, Perpignion, Barcelona etc on to Costa Blanca. We will do this route again but are planning to stop near to Lyon approx halfway. It may not be the prettiest or shortest route but it misses out Paris and is motorway all the way. Best of luck!

Hi we've stayed there - we found it great value for the money really - i mean you're only kipping there and the food was ok - you can re-heat it in their microwave if its cold!! they have a website you can book on!
