About 3 years ago we brought our grandchildren with us. One booster seat and one "proper" baby seat in a long zip up travel bag. Booked in the hold.

Much better than having them from the car hire firms. We had a bad experience the time before. The car seats from the hire car firms were  dirty and broken. You have to fit these yourself  without instructions.Totally your responsibility.

Hi Jeanie,

we were organising exactly the same thing today.

We have annual travel insurance, but that only covers for emergencies etc. I asked the Doctor for our usual tablets. He said he would only supply 3 months and suggested we find a  " friendly " doctor in Spain. I then spoke to the people up at Newcastle, very helpful I have to say. She made enquiries and suggested that we use our European health card ( used to be E111 ) and ask for our medicines in either a state hospital  or a state health centre in Spain. Keeping our fingers crossed.
